Tesla

Tesla’s goal is to advance the electric vehicle revolution by building the most efficient and fun to drive cars. Based in California’s Silicon Valley, Tesla sells cars directly to customers online and from a growing retail network in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. More than 1,700 owners are driving Tesla Roadsters in at least 31 countries.

The Tesla Roadster is the only zero-emission sports car for sale. The Roadster accelerates 0-60 mph or 0-97 kmh in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is 125 mph or 201 kmh, with 370 Newton meters of torque.

The car has an EU-certified range of 212 miles or 340 kms per charge.

The Roadster can be plugged into conventional outlets throughout the world, including 120- and 240-volt systems in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

In the United Kingdom, the Roadster qualifies for a 100 percent Writing Down Allowance and is exempt from the Showroom Tax, and Roadster drivers do not pay the London congestion charge.
