EcoVelocity 2011 will host the ‘My First Honda Licence’ scheme that is developed to teach the road-users of tomorrow about staying safe.
Children from the ages of 5 to 11 can experience the fun of riding a restricted 50cc motorcycle on a specially designed circuit in complete safety with experienced instructors on hand at all times.
As well as teaching the youngsters the basics of how to ride a motorcycle, the inclusion of road signs and other road furniture means they learn to respect the rules of the road as well as recognise any potential dangers. Children will be provided with the necessary safety equipment and be shown how to ride the bike safely – once proficient on the machine they will be presented with their very first license – a replica of that received by adults when a vehicle test is passed. A great way of introducing your child to the world of two wheels!
‘My First Honda Licence’ at EcoVelocity 2011 is free! Bookings are based on a first come first serve basis with 4-6 children able to complete the scheme per hour.
Unfortunately no pre bookings are available so we advise that families come straight to the feature on arrival to EcoVelocity to book a time slot.
