Supercar Paddock

The Supercar Paddock at EcoVelocity will feature the latest eco-supercars, proving that green doesn’t mean slow or boring.

iRacer
EVCUP - the world’s first circuit racing series based totally around zero emission electric cars, providing the platform for sustainable motor sports, presents the first production electric race car christened, the iRACER. Powered by twin motors with direct drive to the rear wheels reaching 660Nm of torque per wheel in a vehicle weighing just 770kg, the iRACER is a track focused electric vehicle designed and engineered from the ground up as a pure race car. It is the result of a collaborative project between Westfield Sportscars, and Niche Vehicle Network partners Potenza Technology, Delta Motorsport, RDM Automotive, and Coventry University. To see the iRACER in wheel to wheel action, EVCUP begins racing at the world renowned Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on November 26th and continuing on to Auto Club Speedway on December 17th, before returning to race in Europe in 2012.

Nemesis
The Nemesis is the result of nearly two years’ hard work by an ‘A-team’ of ex-motorsport engineers. The result is awesome: faster than a V12 Ferrari, 0-100mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 170mph.

The ultimate in sustainability – a car that’s fast, great to look at and fabulous to drive – all with zero emissions.

Delta E-4 Coupe`
The E-4 Coupe is a two door, four seat coupe which will initially be manufactured as a pure battery electric car, the car has also been package protected for hybrid conversion either using a Hydrogen fuel cell or onboard generator. The E-4 is available in two or four wheel drive and the battery pack can be tailored in size to suit your typical drive cycle, with a maximum range on a single charge of 250 miles.

Evelio
Launched in July 2011, the Evelio is a British built electric Supercar developed by a small and dedicated team in Andover, Hampshire.

The zero emissions Supercar offers an instantaneous surge of electric power giving a
0-60mph of 3.2 seconds, making it one of the fastest electric vehicles, and indeed cars, on the planet.

Lightning GT
With no compromise on looks or driving pleasure, the instantaneous surge of pure electric power and the smoothest acceleration imaginable at the touch of a pedal, the Lightning GT can reach 0-60mph in less than four seconds.

Westfield Sport-E
Westfield Sport-E is a high performance pure electric variant of the Westfield Sport that started development in 2009. Whilst the vehicle architecture has remained the same, new battery systems, electrical systems and a different motor and controller have been adopted.

Tesla Roadster
The hand-built, carbon fiber Teslar Roadster sets the mark for premium electric cars. The electric powertrain enables unprecedented responsiveness and superior handling making the roadster an extension of the driver’s arm. This supercar, minus the supercar emissions, smoothly accelerates from 0-60mph in an astonishingly 3.7 seconds!

Bluebird Electric
The Bluebird Electric is one of the world’s most striking, high performance electric supercars and will be driven at EcoVelocity by land speed record breaker Don Wales, the grandson of the great racing motorist Sir Malcolm Campbell MBE.

Before 2013 Don will attempt to exceed 500mph in the supercar, a new world land speed record. He currently holds the UK land speed record for electric vehicles at 137mph, achieved in The Bluebird Electric in August 2000.

More cars being announced shortly. Please check back here for updates.
