The Greenpower Education Trust is a charity aiming to inspire young people to becme engineers through practical engineering trials, while also focusing on sustainability, teamwork and the community.
Our initial project, an electric car challenge, requires teams to design, build and then race a single seat car. Holding events at major motor circuits around the UK completes the experience for any group taking part in this unique contest.
Anyone from 9-25 can get involved in one of the three categories available. In addition, the annual Corporate Challenge Charity day invites industry to take part and compete against the top school teams.
More than 400 schools and youth groups nationwide recognise the benefits of participating.
